Job description DEMI is seeking Hospital Medicine Physicians (Internal/Family Medicine) that are board-certified (preferred). We are placing Hospitalists for
FT/PT/PRN
opportunities at Kishwaukee Hospital & other west-suburban hospitals. Kishwaukee Hospital is located in DeKalb, on the Sycamore border, which is just; 30 miles southeast of Rockford, 40 miles west of Naperville, & 65 miles west of Chicago. Our west-suburban hospital location is located within 35 miles of downtown Chicago or 10 mi. from Naperville. Why DEMI? Physicians-led community & quality of life is valued. Kishwaukee Hospital offers:
Flexible Shifts; 12-hr./block schedule to be determined- flexible extra shifts, days; 7 on-7 off.
MRI, CAT
Scan, Ultrasound, Cath Lab, Anesthesia (in-house), Nuclear Medicine w/radiology reports- available 24/7.
EPIC EHR
with Dragon. Established referral patterns. Multiple specialty/subspecialty coverage. Strong affiliation with ED group & Hospital Administration/Board. An excellent relationship with the medical staff & Health System Board.Responsibilities:
Develop personal relationships with patients. Create patient-specific health programs that make use of historical data. Monitor and adapt individualized health programs over time. Schedule and administer follow-up examinations. Make use of patient health data in medical analyses. Offer comprehensive wellness exams. Recommending specialists for treatment outside of their capacity.Candidate Requirements:
Hospitalist (Internal/Family Medicine Physician).Board-Certified/Board-Eligible:
Internist (ABIM)/Family medicine (ABFM- required.
MD/DO. IL
