Hospital Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Hospital Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, visitors, and hospital property. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Monitor hospital entrances, exits, and restricted areas using CCTV systems and physical patrols to prevent unauthorized access. Conduct regular surveillance checks throughout the facility to identify potential security threats or safety hazards. Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Enforce hospital policies related to visitor access, patient safety, and property protection through effective conflict management. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly. Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.

From $14.50 per hour
