Setting:

Inpatient Hospital Shifts:

noon to noon 24 hr shifts, 12+ hours on 12 hours Call (on site sleeping arrangements and meals)

Requirements:

BE/BC IM/Hospitalist Active, clean WV License Clean

DEA & NPDB

(no current suits or unresolved cases) Must commit to minimum of one 4-7 day placement unless otherwise noted. (Can accept more than one provider to cover the need) Must be skilled at emergent intubations, vents, lines (must sign off that you are qualified & experienced) Must have ACLS certification Must have rigorous hospitalist experience and submit logs for previous 12 months showing at least a handful of the aforementioned emergent procedures. Must arrive early for 4 hr orientation (weekend-evening prior; weekday-morning of) Must be committed to small town, rural/remote and underserved populations Travel, lodging, and food provided Malpractice Insurance provided
