Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Hospitality/Floor Manager plays a hands-on leadership role on the restaurant floor, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. You'll serve as the key liaison between the front-of-house staff, the culinary team, and guests—championing excellence in every detail of the dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and inspire FOH team members to deliver warm, attentive, and elevated service. Maintain a visible presence on the floor, actively engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues gracefully. Monitor daily operations with a sharp eye for detail—from table presentation to service timing. Support the GM in implementing systems and processes that drive efficiency and consistency. Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling staff to ensure optimal coverage and performance. Uphold and model all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Identify opportunities for service or operational enhancements and participate in strategic planning for growth.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a full-service or upscale casual restaurant. Passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. High emotional intelligence with a natural ability to motivate, coach, and lead a team. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and maintain composure under pressure. Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, and service standards. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
