Job Description

Domaine Serene is seeking a warm, polished, and hospitality-driven Hospitality Support & Host to join our Estate team. This role is essential to creating an exceptional luxury guest experience from the moment guests arrive on property through the completion of their visit. The Hospitality Support & Host serves as a key ambassador of Domaine Serene by providing elevated hospitality, thoughtful guest engagement, and seamless operational support across multiple hospitality areas including the tasting room, guest reception, and wine pick-up operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable experiences, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering genuine hospitality with professionalism and attention to detail.

This position includes both indoor and outdoor responsibilities, including welcoming and assisting guests upon arrival in varying weather conditions. Essential Responsibilities Guest Hospitality & Hosting Serve as a primary point of welcome for all arriving guests, creating a warm, polished, and memorable first impression of Domaine Serene. Greet and assist guests outdoors and throughout the property while providing elevated and personalized hospitality. Escort guests to tasting experiences, lounges, culinary experiences, or wine pick-up areas based on reservations and guest interests. Monitor guest flow and communicate proactively with Hospitality and Culinary teams regarding arrivals, special requests, VIP guests, and timing adjustments. Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful assistance throughout the visit to ensure a seamless luxury experience. Maintain professionalism, composure, and attentiveness during high-volume service periods. Hospitality Support Obtain daily service area assignments, which may include the Tasting Room, Member Lounge, Culinary Department, Guest Services, or Wine Pick-Up operations. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout all guest-facing hospitality spaces and estate grounds. Prepare and reset tasting and hospitality areas efficiently between guest experiences. Ensure service stations are fully stocked with wines, glassware, menus, and hospitality materials. Wash and polish glassware, plates, and flatware to presentation standards. Maintain public restrooms and guest areas to luxury hospitality cleanliness standards. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests while communicating effectively with Hospitality leadership and team members. Wine Pick-Up & Operational Support Fulfill wine orders by packing, staging, and assisting guests with pick-up transactions. Stage wines for daily service, events, and scheduled guest pickups. Assist with inventory organization and cleanliness within wine storage and pick-up areas. Execute outreach campaigns related to open wine orders, pick-ups, and shipping coordination. Assist Wine Pick-Up operations during peak weekends, club events, and large-scale hospitality experiences. Culinary & Team Support Support back-of-house hospitality operations including assembly of charcuterie and cheese boards and food running. Collaborate with Sommeliers, Wine Specialists, Culinary, Guest Services, and Hospitality team members to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Actively develop knowledge of Domaine Serene wines, winery history, and winemaking practices to confidently educate guests. Support point-of-sale and purchasing transactions as needed. Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, luxury service, winery, hotel, or guest services environments preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality. Ability to remain composed, professional, and guest-focused in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including outdoor guest greeting responsibilities. Must be flexible and adaptable to changing operational needs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in the winery, restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus. Must have detail-oriented work habits and strong organization skills.
