Overview Perry Park Country Club is situated in a Mountain Valley, 30 minutes south of the Denver Metro area. Our red rock formations and excellent course conditions allow Perry Park to be home to "Timeless Beauty" & "Amazing Golf". As a member owned private facility, we take pride in providing elite service to our members and their guests.
Position Concept:
The First Assistant Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day golf operations. The position is responsible for the supervision and management of all golf operations in the absence of the Head Golf Professional. All roles and responsibilities should be performed with the intention of providing the highest-level service to our members and guests.
Experience Required Knowledge, Skills & Traits:
Service oriented with the ability to provide excellent service to members and guests. PGA Member or active PGA Associate (Level 3) Strong knowledge of the GHIN Handicap Management System. Experienced with Golf Genius Software. Acts as a positive role model for the team and PGA PGM Interns. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Self-motivated with a desire to continue to grow.
Essential Responsibilities Areas of Responsibility:
Golf Shop operations Group events / outings League management Outside Service management Merchandise and Inventory management
Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for all areas of the golf operation. Providing supervision and training to the golf shop & outside service teams. Responsible for the administration of the clubs non-member outing program. Assists with member check in. Assists in providing an excellent on course experience. (Pace of play management) Administer PPCC league and tournament operations. Responsible for Golf Genius Tournament Software setup and administration. Assists in merchandising and inventory management. Conducts monthly inventory. Assists in managing golf cart fleet. Supervision of Outside Service Manager. Responsible for coordinating with Golf Tournament & Handicap Committee to administer the USGA Handicap System. Provides basic club repair. Assists Director of Instruction with player development programs for PPCC Members. Play golf with members and staff. Always conduct oneself in a professional manner.
