Overview
POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Golf Professional performs all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures to create memorable experiences for each member and their guest. Experience Required Education / Experience Current PGA Member or Associate in good standing, minimum of Level 1 preferred 3 years' experience at a high-end golf facility Knowledge and understanding of golf course procedures Familiar with all aspects of tournament operations Computer proficiency including MS Office, POS, Course Management Systems, Payroll Systems and Inventory Tracking Extensive operational and detailed organizational background Advanced knowledge of the game of golf, teaching protocols, and rules Qualifications/Skills Problem Solving

Essential Responsibilities
  • This is a leadership position that supports the Lead Assistant Professional with supervision of Course Advisors, Starters, and Future Times
  • Must be able to lead and communicate with empathy and understanding
  • Oversees the tee time reservation system, starting, monitoring, and pace of play
  • Maintain accurate accounting records including P&L's, invoicing, and member billing
  • Update and maintain all golf department SOPs, policies, and job descriptions and ensure they are adhered to and posted in the proper areas
  • Walks the facility daily to conduct a 360-degree review of the operation to ensure the highest level of service and membership standards.
