We are seeking an energetic, personable, and highly motivated Teaching Professional to join our golf staff for the upcoming season. This position presents an outstanding opportunity to develop a teaching business while working with an active membership that values instruction and player development. Position Summary The Seasonal Teaching Professional will be responsible for delivering high-quality golf instruction to members and their guests, with a primary focus on women's programming, beginner development, and member engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing participation, enhancing the member experience, and supporting the overall golf operation. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic golf professional who excels at building relationships, creating a positive learning environment, and delivering exceptional instruction. They should be passionate about growing women's golf participation, helping members achieve their goals, and contributing positively to the culture of High Ridge Country Club. Experience Required Qualifications Required PGA of America Member, LPGA Professional, or PGA Associate in good standing. Previous teaching experience in a private club setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for teaching and growing the game of golf. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible seasonal schedules. Preferred Experience leading women's golf programs. Experience teaching junior golfers and beginners. Proficiency with launch monitor technology and video analysis. Essential Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Instruction & Player Development Provide private and group golf instruction to members. Develop and lead women's golf clinics, golf schools, and beginner programs. Assist with junior golf clinics, and player development initiatives. Conduct player evaluations and create individualized improvement plans. Utilize modern teaching technology and training aids to enhance instruction. Member Engagement Foster strong relationships with members and guests. Create a welcoming environment for new golfers and those looking to improve. Participate in member events, ladies' golf associations, and instructional demonstrations. Promote golf participation and help grow instructional programming throughout the season. Golf Operations Support Attend golf events and tournaments as needed. Support daily golf operations and member services during peak periods. Collaborate with the professional staff to ensure exceptional member experiences. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the standards of High Ridge Country Club on property and in tournament play.
