Job Description

Provide high-quality private and group tennis instruction for adult players of varying skill levels. Conduct scheduled tennis clinics, drills, mixers, and other instructional programs. Develop strong relationships with members and provide an outstanding member experience. Encourage participation in lessons, clinics, mixers, leagues, and special events. Assist with the organization and execution of club tournaments, exhibitions, member events, and social tennis activities. Help create engaging and enjoyable tennis programming for the membership. Assist with league teams, practices, and organized play when needed. Maintain a professional on-court presence and represent the Sports Department positively. Communicate effectively with members regarding lessons, programs, and scheduling. Work collaboratively with the Sports Director, Sports Services Coordinator, and other teaching professionals. Be willing to assist with pickleball programming when appropriate and based on experience. Assist with other Sports Department programs and events as needed. Previous tennis teaching or coaching experience required. Strong playing background and solid knowledge of tennis technique, strategy, and player development. Ability to effectively teach players across different ability levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Energetic, outgoing, dependable, and professional. Strong customer-service mindset and ability to build positive relationships with members. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, tournaments, and special events as programming requires. USPTA or PTR certification preferred. Pickleball teaching or playing experience is a plus but not required. Previous private club or country club experience is a plus.
