Job Description

Overview The Country Club of Columbus is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual for the Assistant Golf Professional position. The Country Club of Columbus, located in Columbus, GA, has been a pillar of the community since its founding in 1909. Designed by the legendary Donald Ross, the club boasts more than 115 years of history and tradition, establishing itself as one of the Southeast's most storied private clubs. As one of the 15 founding clubs of the Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA), the club honors its rich legacy while continuing to evolve. Today, members enjoy a wide range of amenities, including championship golf, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a fitness facility, and elegant dining options. The club also offers a variety of social events and activities, fostering a vibrant and welcoming community for members and their families. In 1922, Fred Haskins—referred to the club by Bobby Jones—became Head Golf Professional, serving for 34 years.
