Overview The Assistant Golf Professional is expected to assist with the daily tasks and procedures of the Golf Operation. Experience Required PGA Member or PGM Associate preffered College degree preferred; High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven track record of team management, organizational and coaching skills Experience with Word, Excel and Golf Genius software Essential Responsibilities Provide a visible, professional, and positive presence throughout the Club and Golf Operation Responsible for opening and closing procedures of the Golf Shop Manage tee sheet reservations, adjustments, and cancellations Aid in the administration of tournament operations including the use of Golf Genius Perform club fitting and minor club repair services Assist with merchandising and inventory management Monitor Golf Course and practice areas to present a professional presence and enhance Member engagement Conduct individual lessons and group clinics Active involvement in the Junior Golf program Benefits Health/Dental/Vision Insurance 401K Potential PGA Annual Dues Playing and practicing privileges One meal a day while on duty
