Drake University's Athletics Department competes in the Missouri Valley Conference at the NCAA Division I level. Bulldog student-athletes thrive in the classroom and their respective field of play. Drake University is seeking applicants for a cheer coordinator. The successful candidate will support a positive academic, athletic, and social environment for student-athletes while creating a culture of excellence and ethics. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Ability to build rapport with students, coaches, and staff. Skills to help student-athletes improve through training / coaching. Ability to complete work within deadlines under little guidance. Ability to develop and sustain relationships with prospective student athletes, parents, and coaches.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Knowledge and basic proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of applicable NCAA Rules and regulations. Experience playing at the collegiate level preferred. Master's degree preferred. Coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level preferred.Job Duties:
Drake University, a Division I institution competing in the Missouri Valley Conference, seeks a cheer coordinator. Essential functions include, but are not limited to: 60%- Coaching and development of student-athletes
