Historic Salem Country Club, located in Peabody, MA is seekingOUTSIDE OPERATIONS ATTENDANTS
for the 2025 Golf Season. Salem Country Club is a Private Club that with a classic 18-hole Donald Ross designed golf course that has hosted seven USGA National Championships, most recently the 2017 Senior U.S. Open. Strong Preference given to candidates with previous golf and country club experience. Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage (plus tips) based on experience and availability, flexible hours and meals are included when you are on duty.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and assist members and guests as they arrive to the club.
- Setup, maintain, and close down the driving range throughout the day.
- Clean and care for members and guests golf bags / clubs and golf carts.
- Load golf clubs on golf carts and stage in first tee area based on scheduled tee times and any late new additions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the first tee area and bag / cart storage area.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule to include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays subject to demand and weather conditions.
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Give clear and concise directions to various locations of the club and course.
- Answer all guests' questions using excellent customer skills.
- Always wear proper attire and be well groomed while working on the property.
- Must be well mannered, display a helpful and hospitable attitude at all times, always greet members and guests when encountered showing a willingness to help.
- Maintain communications with coworkers, staff and supervisors to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Perform any other appropriate tasks as deemed necessary by the Head Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professionals, Pro Shop staff and Salem Country Club's Management team as requested
