Director of Racquet Sports / Head Tennis Professional Position Summary The Tennis Assistant supports the daily operations of the tennis program and delivers a high-quality member and guest experience. This role assists with tennis instruction, court scheduling, clinics, events, junior programming, and general facility operations while promoting participation and engagement in racquet sports activities. Key Responsibilities Assist with the coordination and execution of tennis programs, clinics, camps, leagues, and tournaments. Support tennis professionals during private lessons, junior development programs, and group instruction. Provide outstanding customer service to members and guests. Assist with court reservations, scheduling, and program registrations. Help maintain court conditions, equipment organization, and overall cleanliness of the tennis facility. Promote club events, lessons, and tennis activities to increase participation. Monitor player safety and ensure adherence to club policies and procedures. Assist with event setup, scoring, check-ins, and administrative tasks. Support retail and merchandise operations as needed. Communicate effectively with members, guests, and staff. Qualifications Prior tennis playing experience required; competitive or collegiate experience preferred. Previous experience in tennis instruction, coaching, or club operations preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Customer-service oriented with a positive and professional attitude. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic organizational and administrative skills. CPR/AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Compensation Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications. Pay Range:
