Job Description

Status:
Non-Exempt Job Objective:
The primary role of the Golf Shop Assistant is to provide all members and guests with superior customer service. The secondary goal is to help ensure the smooth, orderly operation of the golf shop, in accordance with the goals and policies set forth by The Ranch Club.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To ensure a positive guest experience Assist golfer with check-in / registration through Jonas system Perform basic accounting and cash register functions. Merchandising (check-in, process, tag, display, re-stock and sales) Industry knowledge to include: Hard and soft goods along with basic understanding of the game of golf. GHIN handicap management Golf Genius tournament and Golf Genius Golf Shop awareness Tournament operations (Leagues, corporate events, member events etc.) Keep shop and surrounding areas clean at all times Supervise outside staff in absence of shop manager Comply with all Ranch Club safety and health policies and procedures
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times. Perform any additional tasks as assigned by
Director of Golf or GM Educational Requirements:
High School Graduate License /
Permits Required:
Valid and current drivers' license
Required Office Skills:
Basic accounting, organization, positive attitude
Computer Literacy:
Microsoft word, excel,
Golf Genius, JONAS Previous Experience Required:
At least 2 years of golf related hospitality or similar type of experience
