Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute strength and conditioning sessions for baseball athletes across all levels.
- Collaborate with the performance staff to design and implement individualized training programs.
- Ensure a clean, professional, and motivating training environment at all times.
- Monitor athlete performance, track key metrics, and adjust programming accordingly.
- Support injury prevention strategies using data from force plates, sprint lasers, and other tech-based tools.
- Contribute to staff education, mentorship of interns, and ongoing development of the VeloU coaching standard.
Requirements:
- Proven passion for athlete development and coaching in high-performance environments.
- Strong understanding of strength training, biomechanics, and movement assessment.
- Adaptability, professionalism, and a team-first mindset.
- Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (required).
- Experience working with athletes in a structured strength & conditioning setting (preferred 1-3 years minimum).
- Certified through NSCA (CSCS), NASM, or similar accredited organization. What this career will offer you:
