Overview Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional The Club 21 Golf Club is an invitation-only private club located in the rolling Sand Hills of South Carolina, just minutes from both Aiken, South Carolina and Augusta, Georgia. Inspired by Dr. Alister MacKenzie's legendary lost design of El Boquerón, the course has been faithfully brought to life by Brian Zager, creating one of the most unique golf experiences in the world. Featuring nine spectacular double greens, the course delivers an unforgettable test of strategy and creativity. Unlike traditional private clubs, 21 Golf Club is intentionally intimate. Every Member and Guest receives a highly personalized experience built around exceptional hospitality, knowledgeable caddies, outstanding course conditions, and genuine relationships. This is a rare opportunity to join a club at its beginning and help establish the standards that will define the Member experience for generations. The Opportunity 21 Golf Club is seeking a motivated PGA Class A Professional or Associate who is passionate about hospitality and eager to become an integral part of building one of America's premier private golf clubs. This position is far more than a traditional assistant golf professional role. Working directly alongside the Director of Golf & Club Operations and the leadership team, the Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional will gain hands-on experience in every aspect of club operations, including golf operations, tournament administration, merchandising, caddie management, member relations, hospitality, and daily club execution. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with Members and Guests while making a visible impact on the overall experience. The successful candidate will help shape the culture of 21 Golf Club while gaining invaluable experience operating a world-class private club from the ground up. Desired Qualities PGA Class A Member or Associate in good standing Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional Member experiences Service-oriented with outstanding interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities High attention to detail with a commitment to excellence Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative Team-first mentality with the flexibility to assist wherever needed Strong organizational and time management skills Experience with Golf Genius preferred Experience with golf shop merchandising and retail operations Experience working at a caddie club is preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment Respectable playing ability with enthusiasm for engaging with Members Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Essential Responsibilities Deliver an exceptional experience for every Member and Guest. Assist in all aspects of daily golf operations. Build meaningful relationships with Members and Guests. Manage golf shop operations including merchandising, receiving inventory, point-of-sale transactions, and presentation. Coordinate and oversee the club's caddie program, including assignments, communication, training, and daily operations. Maintain golf car fleet presentation and operational readiness. Oversee daily practice facility operations. Assist with tournaments, member events, and special club programming. Play golf with Members and Guests while representing the club professionally. Support food & beverage and club operations when needed to ensure a seamless Member experience. Perform any additional duties necessary to uphold the standards of 21 Golf Club.
