Tennis Pro Shop Attendant Jewish Community Center Of Dallas - 2.8 Dallas, TX Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Some college Record keeping CPR Certification Phone communication Staff scheduling Cataloging Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Data entry Order placement Newsletters (communication methods) Phone call management Entry level Full Job Description The Tennis Pro-Shop Assistant, under the supervision of the Tennis Director, will be responsible for administrative duties in Tennis department. This position is a part-time, non-exempt position with a maximum of 29 hours per week. The Jewish Community Center is an EOE (equal opportunity employer).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
ADMINISTRATIVE Answer telephone, take and distribute messages. Help maintain departmental records. Prepare department correspondence including letters and memos. Catalog copy for Tennis department. Maintain accident reports. Prepare room reservation forms. Assist with merchandise ordering for the Tennis Pro Shop. CAMP Data entry of Tennis camp applications. Maintain records for Tennis camps including health cards, manuals and carpool lists. Consult with Tennis Camp Director daily on attendance. Contact parents as needed for illness, injury and discipline. Treat minor injuries and supervise discipline problems. Attend morning and afternoon briefings.
DEPARTMENTAL
Create special forms and schedules as needed for programming. Prepare Tennis schedules, rosters and newsletters. Update Tennis staff schedules. Assist with checking membership renewal status of program participants. Responsible for payment collections for Tennis program payments.
MISCELLANEOUS
Prepare departmental mailing and assist with Center mailings. Attend Tennis staff meetings weekly. Handle emergencies quickly and efficiently. Prepare e-mail blast and monthly newsletter about Tennis programming. Assist Tennis Pro with clinics and junior classes. Listen to the Tennis Pro's direction and feed tennis balls. Regular, predictable attendance is required. Miscellaneous duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. College preferred. Customer service experience and training required. CPR Certification preferred
