In this role, you will inspire players of all ages and skill levels to develop their tennis abilities while fostering a fun, safe, and motivating environment in both group and private lesson formats. You will help clients improve their technique, enhance their physical fitness, and enjoy the sport of tennis to the fullest. Working with a wide variety of players, this role creates a unique opportunity for a dynamic work environment where no two days will be the same. Duties Conduct engaging tennis lessons tailored to individual skill levels, from beginners to advanced players in both group and private format. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs that incorporate sports-specific techniques and physical conditioning Provide coaching on proper stroke mechanic (grips, swing paths, etc.), footwork, strategy, and game rules Communicate effectively with clients to track progress, address questions, and promote ongoing participation Reliably maintain a coaching schedule and be prompt for lessons Experience Strong tennis experience (college level preferred, but others will be considered). Experience coaching tennis or other sports in an organized format (preferred) Strong communication skills for effective client interaction Experience working with students on behavior management and skill development in a positive manner
