Job Description

Hampton Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services is seeking motivated candidates to provide exceptional hospitality to players of the Woodlands Golf Course. P layer Assistants monitor the course for flow of play, courteously enforce on-course rules and regulations, tend to player inquiries and needs, and assure overall guest satisfaction on the course, all from a golf cart. Benefits include a beautiful, outdoor work environment, golf privileges for yourself and your family, a flexible, rotating schedule with days off, and no night shift! This position is perfect for retirees or students with knowledge of the game of golf. However, all candidates are welcome as training will be provided. . Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or successful completion of the GED. Previous experience and knowledge of golf course operations and the game of golf preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application. Must successfully pass a background check related to this position prior to any offer of employment or promotion. Additional Requirements Requires shift work to include nights, weekends and holidays. The incumbent may be considered "essential personnel" during city emergency situations, or at the direction of the City Manager or designee which may include long hours and unusual schedules.
