Job Description

The Golf Club at Lansdowne, located in Lansdowne, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Assists the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals with the daily management of golf operations Assists with golfer check-in and fee collection; controls and manages play; reconciles daily tee sheets Assists in administering all point-of-sale (POS) application revisions and needs as they apply to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing Promotes all club golf activities Assists with maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop Assists with maintaining proper records and billing for storage and lockers for members Assists golf professionals during tournaments and weekly games Monitors all members' scores, reports handicaps to the USGA, and bills members accordingly Follows established opening and closing procedures Incorporates safe work practices in job performance Performs other duties as required Exceptional customer service skills Previous golf course and/or retail experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent Some college or a college degree preferred; or equivalent experience Availability on weekdays, weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings Reliable attendance with strong customer service skills and a positive personality Healthcare Benefits - Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement) Retirement Benefits - 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.
