The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Baker ensures that cakes of the highest quality are consistently created for our guests and contributes to superior service by meeting production demands. Following strict proprietary recipes, NbC production methods and food safety standards, the Baker performs the repeated baking process for our delicious cakes offered in a variety of flavors and sizes. The Baker embodies NbC core values and demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence and efficiency in the workplace.Accountabilities/Duties:
Follows NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieves productivity goals Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes Accurately prepares raw ingredients and equipment for baking, places cake pans into ovens, and monitors the baking process Adheres to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes, including product rotation standards Maintains baking and refrigeration logs in compliance with food safety standards Assists Bakery Manager with production planning and monitors inventory of baking supplies Evaluates raw ingredients and finished cakes to ensure NbC quality standards are met Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstation; ensures readiness for the next shift Complies with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality Requirements & Work Conditions Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Role is repetitive and detail-oriented in nature Ability to stand for extended periods of time Comfortable working early morning shifts and maintaining a consistent schedule Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong attendance Approximately 28-30 hours per week Typical production schedule is Monday-Thursday, with occasional Friday shifts during peak/holiday periods. Must be available to work all scheduled production days. Shift begins at approximately 8:00 AM; end time varies based on production needs (generally up to 8 hours per shift) Qualifications Previous baking, food service, or kitchen experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to follow recipes and procedures precisely Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Team player with a positive attitudeCompensation & Work Environment Compensation:
