Job Description

Position Summary:
The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Froster ensures cakes of the highest quality are consistently prepared for our guests while supporting efficient bakery operations. Following proprietary recipes, frosting techniques, and food safety standards, the Froster prepares our signature frosting and decorates cakes using standardized methods. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
Accountabilities/Duties:
Follows NbC proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision while meeting productivity goals Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixer and pastry bag to frost cakes Prioritizes pre-orders according to schedule and fulfills walk-in orders as needed Maintains appropriate levels of frosted cakes for display and monitors frosting inventory Adheres to proper packaging, labeling, storage, and product rotation standards; maintains required logs Monitors frosting supply levels and notifies management when replenishment is needed Evaluates finished products to ensure quality standards are met and communicates any issues to management Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstation; prepares supplies for the next shift Assists with dishwashing and equipment cleaning when needed Complies with all health, safety, and hygiene standards, including dress code requirements Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality May assist in and cross-train across other back-of-house positions as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including recipes, order tickets, and operating procedures Basic understanding of measurements and ingredient handling Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring precise hand and wrist movements Has the physical capacity to lift items of moderate to heavy weight (as much as 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time. Is meticulous about using exact measurements, paying strict attention to timing and working on a tight, fast-paced production schedule Ability to evaluate products and processes to ensure compliance with standards Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while managing priorities
Education and Experience Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or foodservice environment is a plus
Work Availability:
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Bakery operates with earlier closing hours than many foodservice environments
Compensation & Work Environment Compensation:
$12 per hour Supportive, team-focused work environment
