We are looking for a talented and reliable Cake Decorator to join our team on Friday and Saturday mornings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery environment and takes pride in creating visually appealing, consistent, and high-quality cakes and desserts. Duties Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, creativity, and flair, ensuring each piece is visually stunning and meets customer specifications Prepare and assemble cakes using various techniques such as piping and airbrushing. Package finished products carefully to preserve quality and presentation during transport or display Assist in food preparation tasks related to cake production, including mixing, layering, and filling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating station in compliance with food safety standards Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders while upholding high-quality standards Provide excellent customer service by discussing design options and ensuring customer satisfaction with finished products Requirements Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or culinary arts with a strong portfolio of decorated baked goods Knowledge of food handling safety practices and proper hygiene procedures in a kitchen environment Skilled in food preparation techniques including baking, icing, and piping. Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as knives, spatulas, piping bags, turntables, and decorating tools Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively Previous experience in food industry settings such as bakeries, restaurants, catering services or similar environments is highly desirable Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25-40 lbs Ability to perform repetitive hand movements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Join us to craft stunning edible art that delights our customers!
