Full Job Description Position Purpose:

Our Cake Decorator will execute day-to-day operations in our Bakery department and provide a memorable experience to all our customers. A Cake Decorator has a keen eye for Food Safety and Sanitation and will be able to help in production and merchandising while offering unmatched customer service. Responsibilities A Cake Decorator is a responsible, friendly Team Member who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service. A Cake Decorator's responsibilities include: Icing sheet cakes and decorating with spatulas, icing bags and icing tips per customer order or at decorators' discretion. Providing memorable customer service during daily customer interactions Preparation of food, including baking bread, decorating cookies, creating fresh offerings Sharing food knowledge with customers Cleaning, Food Safety, Safety, and Sanitation Day to day production, merchandising, and quality control of all department offerings Stocking, rotating, and merchandising department products All other related duties as assigned Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period: Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending Perks & Benefits Competitive compensation, paid weekly Retirement Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance for yourself and eligible dependents Tuition Reimbursement for qualified courses Scholarship opportunities for continued education Store discount programs (10% off household groceries) Fun work environment where you have the opportunity to nourish your community Must be 18 years of age.
