Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections with attention to detail and presentation. Decorate cakes and desserts using various artistic methods to fulfill customer specifications.. Package finished products carefully to ensure freshness and quality during delivery or display. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards. Handle food ingredients responsibly, ensuring proper storage, rotation, and sanitation practices are followed. Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, baking, and portioning ingredients for various menu items. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers' special requests or dietary needs professionally and courteously. Qualifications Working the night shift is a mandatory requirement. Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a commercial kitchen or bakery setting. Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations. Skilled in culinary techniques including knife skills, food preparation, and cooking methods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Prior baking experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
