REQUIRED AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF BREAD SOURDOUGH EXPERIENCE
Position available to work 5 days per week, 40 hours per week, including weekends. Typical start time is around 12:00 PM, with schedule details to be confirmed based on business needs.

Fluent Spanish Pay rate is $20.00/hours Job Summary We're on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Sourdough Bread Associate to join our bakery team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of crafting delicious, high-quality sourdough bread and supporting daily bakery operations. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, customer service, and teamwork will help create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare sourdough bread dough from scratch, following established recipes and fermentation processes. Assist in baking, slicing, packaging, and presenting bread products to meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all bakery equipment and work areas in compliance with food safety regulations. Support the team with food handling, stocking ingredients, and managing inventory to ensure freshness and availability. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions, cash handling, and customer payments. Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about our bakery products and offering recommendations. Upsell bakery items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. Assist with bussing tables or cleaning as needed during busy periods to keep the bakery welcoming and organized. Skills Experience in food preparation, bakery work, or food service is preferred but not required—training will be provided! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and measuring ingredients accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Previous experience working in quick-service or fast-food environments is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail.
