This position is ideal for someone who has hands on experience in a professional bakery environment and is confident working with laminated doughs, cakes, pastries, or similar scratch made products. Our bakery focuses on high quality, European inspired pastries and desserts. We value consistency, attention to detail, teamwork, and pride in craftsmanship. Position Overview The baker will be responsible for daily production of baked goods, maintaining quality and consistency, and working efficiently as part of a production team. This role requires prior bakery experience and the ability to work independently once trained. Key Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of products including laminated doughs, pastries, cakes, and desserts Execute recipes accurately while maintaining quality and consistency Assist with dough preparation, shaping, baking, finishing, and decorating as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and food safe workspace Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Communicate clearly with team members and management Support production needs based on daily volume and seasonal demands Qualifications Previous professional bakery experience required Experience with laminated doughs, cakes, or pastry production preferred Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work early mornings and weekends as needed Ability to stand for long periods and lift bakery equipment or supplies Reliable, motivated, and able to work well in a team environment Compensation This is a tipped position. $19 Hourly wage for experienced baker plus tips, with tips adding an average of at least $4 per hour to your base pay. Tips have frequently exceeded $6 per hour depending on volume and season.
