Lead Baker

Bub and Grandma's Bread in Los Angeles is looking for a Lead Baker to join our rapidly growing team! Ideal candidates should have at least two years of professional bakery experience under their belt, be that pastry or bread focused. This is not an ego-driven kitchen. Employees must have a hunger for knowledge and a drive to improve their work and themselves on a daily basis. They should also be empathetic, kind, intuitive and communicative. The job itself will cover all aspects of bread making: leaven management, mixing, fermentation, shaping and eventually baking a diverse selection of bread products. Candidates must be comfortable with a full time schedule in the evening (12-830pm) and must be comfortable with this being a physically demanding job.
