Job Description
Part-Time Bakery Associate Bundle of Cupcakes | Sacramento, CA Do you love baking, creating beautiful desserts, and providing exceptional customer service? Bundle of Cupcakes is looking for a reliable, self-motivated Bakery Associate to join our growing team! We specialize in custom floral cakes, buttercream floral cupcakes, celebration desserts, and specialty treats for weddings, birthdays, showers, and other special events. Every day is different, and we love bringing new ideas to life—from cupcakes and cakes to cookies, dipped treats, cinnamon rolls, and trending desserts. Position Overview This is primarily a baking and customer service position with opportunities to assist in decorating as needed. As you grow with the business, there is potential to train into a cake and cupcake decorating role. This is an independent position where you'll work closely with the owner while also being confident running the bakery on your own during business hours. Responsibilities Bake cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and other bakery items according to recipes Provide outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and through order pickups Package orders and ensure every customer receives a high-quality experience Assist with light cake and cupcake decorating when needed Prepare dipped treats and seasonal or specialty desserts Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace Restock inventory and assist with daily bakery operations Help test and create new menu items and viral dessert trends Qualifications Previous baking experience is required Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without constant supervision Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced bakery environment Detail-oriented with pride in producing high-quality products Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn Weekend availability is required Preferred Schedule Tuesday-Friday ( Flexible, no night shifts, must be at available Thur and Friday between the hours of 9am-4:30pm and one day on Tues or Wedneday) Saturdays Required 9am-2pm Part-time hours (schedule to be discussed during the interview) Growth Opportunities We're looking for someone who wants to grow with our bakery.
