Full-Time / Part-Time About Immersion Immersion is a growing specialty coffee company with multiple locations across San Diego, focused on exceptional coffee, matcha, and a thoughtfully curated bakery program. Our central kitchen produces high-quality baked goods that are distributed daily to our cafés. We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented team members who take pride in consistency, cleanliness, and craftsmanship. Position Summary As a Bakery Clerk, you'll help prepare, condiments, bake, package, and organize a variety of baked goods for all Immersion locations. You'll work closely with the manager to ensure every product meets our quality standards. This is a hands-on production role in a fast-paced kitchen environment where consistency, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients according to standardized recipes Scale, mix, portion, and shape bakery products Bake cookies, cakes, breads, rolls, and other bakery items Assist with cheesecake, dessert, and pastry production Package and label finished products Prepare daily deliveries for Immersion cafés Maintain accurate production records and inventory Receive and organize ingredient deliveries Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Assist with kitchen cleaning at the end of each shift Support new menu launches and seasonal bakery items Qualifications Previous bakery, pastry, restaurant, or food production experience preferred Passion for baking and quality food Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Able to follow recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one) Preferred Experience Commercial bakery experience Experience with mixers, convection ovens, and blast freezers Experience with dough preparation and proofing Experience with food packaging and labeling Familiarity with inventory rotation (FIFO) Schedule Early morning shifts may be required Weekend availability preferred Flexible scheduling based on production needs What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling Paid time off (eligible employees) Employee discounts Opportunities for advancement within a growing company A collaborative and supportive team environment What We're Looking For We care less about years of experience and more about attitude.

$24.49 - $29.49 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
