Cotogna — San Francisco, CA Cotogna, the sister restaurant to Quince, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Baker to join our team. Rooted in Italian tradition and driven by seasonality, Cotogna's menu is built around handmade pastas, wood-fired dishes, and a daily bread and pastry program that reflects both precision and simplicity. We are looking for a baker who shares a passion for craft, consistency, and working with exceptional ingredients.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute daily bread production (including naturally leavened breads, focaccia, and specialty loaves) Assist with laminated doughs, pastries, and seasonal baked goods Maintain fermentation schedules and dough management with accuracy and care Ensure consistency, quality, and cleanliness across all baking processes Collaborate with the culinary team to support service and evolving menu needs

Qualifications:

1-3+ years of professional baking experience (restaurant or artisan bakery preferred) Strong understanding of fermentation, dough handling, and baking techniques Ability to work early mornings and maintain a consistent production schedule Highly organized, detail-oriented, and team-driven A genuine interest in Italian cuisine and seasonal cooking
