Hourly, plus eligible pooled tips About CHOUX Bakery CHOUX is a small French bakery in San Francisco's Lower Haight, known for our artisanal choux pastries, cannelés, financiers, and seasonal treats. We are a small but growing team that values craftsmanship, consistency, teamwork, and creating moments of simple joy for our customers. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Pastry Production Associate to support our daily bakery production. Responsibilities Assist with daily pastry preparation and production Support production of choux, cannelés, financiers, meringues, and seasonal items Prepare ingredients, fillings, creams, toppings, and garnishes according to recipes Help with baking, filling, decorating, and finishing pastries Follow recipes, production lists, and kitchen instructions accurately Maintain consistency in size, quality, flavor, and presentation Help track prep levels, leftovers, and daily production needs Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and food-safe Wash dishes, tools, trays, molds, and production equipment as needed Label, store, and rotate ingredients properly Assist with packaging pastries for retail, pre-orders, events, and wholesale orders Communicate clearly with the team about inventory, production needs, and any issues Support opening, closing, cleaning, and general bakery operations as needed Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of bakery production experience required Strong attention to detail and consistency Able to follow recipes and instructions carefully Reliable, punctual, and organized Team-oriented with a positive attitude Comfortable with repetitive production tasks Willing to help with cleaning, dishes, and general kitchen maintenance Food Handler Certificate required Benefits Eligible for pooled tips on worked shifts Employee discount Hands-on pastry training and learning opportunities Supportive small-team environment Opportunity to grow as CHOUX expands How to Apply Please apply with your resume at and a short note sharing why you are interested in joining CHOUX Bakery.
