Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Mixer to join our dynamic food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients to produce high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced bakery environment. Your expertise in food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards will ensure that our products meet the highest quality and safety requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity for culinary enthusiasts with a passion for baking and food production to contribute to a thriving bakery operation. Responsibilities Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately according to recipes and production standards Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and other mechanical tools safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines Monitor product quality throughout the mixing process, making adjustments as needed to ensure consistency Assist with food preparation tasks including portioning, shaping, and assembling baked goods Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, processing, and storage to prevent contamination Support inventory management by rotating stock and reporting shortages or equipment issues promptly Experience Prior experience in baking, food production, or manufacturing environments preferred Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and CGMP required Hands-on experience with kitchen or restaurant operations is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge of bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, and forklifts is a plus Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately are essential Familiarity with food handling procedures in the food industry or culinary settings is advantageous Strong knife skills and experience in food processing or restaurant kitchens will be beneficial Join us in creating delicious baked goods while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and sanitation.
