As a Pastry Cook II, you will be integral to maintaining Marriott's reputation for culinary excellence by creating exceptional pastries and desserts that delight our guests. This position requires detail-oriented craftsmanship and a passion for creative pastry arts, combined with the innovation and quality that Marriott is known for worldwide. Responsibilities Prepare a wide variety of pastries such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget Ensure kitchen follows sanitation regulations and safety standards Required Skills Proven experience in dough preparation, baking, and decorating techniques Competency in operating baking and decorating tools, including piping bags and spatulas Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety guidelines Detail-oriented with precision in recipe measurements and kitchen aesthetics
