Position Overview We are looking for a talented, dependable, and creative Full-Time Ice Cream Cake Baker & Decorator to join our production team. This role focuses on preparing, assembling, decorating, and finishing custom ice cream cakes while maintaining quality, consistency, and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate has strong decorating skills, enjoys working with desserts, and is eager to learn and grow within a creative food production setting. Key Responsibilities Prepare, assemble, and decorate ice cream cakes according to Heaven Creamery standards Frost, pipe, and finish cakes with attention to presentation and detail Create custom cake designs for birthdays, celebrations, and special orders Work with ice cream, cake layers, fillings, toppings, and decorative elements Maintain consistency in product quality and portioning Follow recipes, preparation guidelines, and production schedules Ensure cakes are labeled, packaged, and stored correctly Assist with inventory organization and ingredient preparation Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace Follow food safety, hygiene, and cross-contamination procedures Work closely with team members to complete daily production goals Support seasonal menu development and creative decorating ideas when needed Qualifications Previous baking, cake decorating, or pastry experience preferred Strong attention to detail and artistic presentation skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen or production environment Ability to work independently while staying organized Reliable attendance and punctuality Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs Positive attitude and willingness to learn Experience with piping, frosting, or cake decorating techniques preferred Full-Time Availability Expectations Ability to work approximately 35-40 hours per week Weekend availability may be required during peak seasons and holidays Flexibility to support production needs during busy periods What We Offer Competitive pay based on skills and decorating ability Creative and hands-on work environment Opportunity to grow within Heaven Creamery Consistent full-time schedule Supportive and collaborative team atmosphere Ability to contribute ideas for cake designs and special products Ideal Candidate The ideal Heaven Creamery Cake Baker & Decorator is creative, detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about creating visually appealing desserts.
