TIME EXPERIENCED CAKE DECORATOR NEEDED
Joseph Family Markets is a local family-owned company that operates as the ShopRite of Canton. We are driven by our company philosophy and our purpose: to care deeply about people, helping them to eat well and be happy. And, we are in search of an addition to our Bakery Team, a
PART TIME EXPERIENCED RETAIL CAKE DECORATOR!
This role would be helping support the company's current Cake Decorator and Bakery team. The position consists of efficiently and independently decorating cakes, cupcakes, fulfilling custom cake orders, pastries, helping oversee inventory of the department service cases, and helping the Bakery team complete any and all tasks needed. The position is 20-28 hours per week. We are only looking for candidates with retail cake decorating experience. Pay commensurate with experience.
The position requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, twist, reach, squat, push, and pull
  • Must be able to regularly lift & carry 25-50lbs
  • Must be able to work within store coolers, freezers, in and out of cold temperatures
  • Must be able to work with and around ovens and heating equipment
  • Must be able to handle all products, including food allergens
  • Must be able to handle all cleaning agents in the department
  • Must be able to read and write English and have basic math skills
  • Must be able to work well independently
  • Outstanding customer service is a definite
  • Cake decorating experience required
  • Anytime availability needed, including weekends

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
