  • French Pâtisserie & Café located in New Canaan, CT About us: Saisons Sucrées (Sweet Seasons) is a high-end patisserie and café serving refined and innovative French pastry, bread, sandwiches, chocolate, coffee and tea.

Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the the Head Baker/Pastry Chef and is responsible for assisting in the daily production of breads, Viennoiserie and pastry
  • Maintain cleanliness of all workstations
  • Adhere to all Dept.
of Health regulations and health and hygiene standards as set forth in the employee handbook
Requirements:
  • Must be a team player!
  • Pastry/Boulangerie certificate or degree from a reputable institution; or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills
  • Willing to work bakery hours (early mornings and weekends)
  • Experience with the following: Bread, Viennoiserie (lamination)
  • Basic experience with (preferred): Choux, Sponges, Short crusts, Mousses, creams and fillings, Entremets, Macarons, Confiserie, Chocolate work, etc.
  • Experience in a professional kitchen environment is preferred
