Applicants should possess a desire to grow in their position, as we encourage all employees to seek growth in the company. We are looking for someone who can work alongside the current bakers so that they can learn to master recipes and be able to work independently. Because this process takes at least several months, we are looking for someone who is forward minded and has a desire to stay with the company long term. The ideal candidate for the job has a positive attitude about all job tasks, an eagerness to work quickly and efficiently, and takes pride in their work and appearance. Bakers are responsible for all prep work needed to produce product as needed as well as maintaining their own workspace. As part of the Michele's Pies team you will not only be baking, but also answering phone calls, taking orders, and interacting with customers as needed.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Prep work as instructed by management
• Following recipes to bake product to standard
• Meeting production goals
• Cleaning up after yourself, and participating in cleaning the bakery
• Stocking deliveries and ingredients
• Answering phone calls, redirecting them as appropriate
• Restocking product/product presentation
• Packing orders
• Participating in the Michele's Pies team
• Additional tasks requested by management Physical requirements:
• Ability to go up and down stairs frequently
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand/move around for entirety of shift (10 hours)
