Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Baker Assistant to support our bakery team with daily preparation and production tasks. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and is eager to learn. No extensive baking experience is required, we're happy to train the right person. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, chopping nuts and fruit, measuring ingredients, assisting with doughs and batters, organizing supplies, and helping keep the bakery clean and running efficiently. A successful Baker Assistant is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a team. You should be willing to take direction, work efficiently, and help wherever needed to ensure our bakery produces high-quality products every day.
Baker Assistant Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and portioning items for daily production. Assist bakers with mixing doughs, batters, fillings, and other bakery preparations. Wash, peel, chop, and prepare fruits, nuts, and other ingredients. Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift. Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and equipment while following food safety standards. Package and label baked goods as needed. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries. Perform other kitchen and bakery tasks as assigned to support the team.
Baker Assistant Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. No prior bakery experience required; willingness to learn is essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions. Dependable with good time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and during busy seasonal periods. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
