The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and baking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality baked goods. If you have a love for baking and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods (bagels) Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to fulfill catering orders and special requests from customers. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries about baked goods. Would train the right candidate Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation or baking within the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of pastry techniques and various baking methods is highly desirable. Strong understanding of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed. A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes is a plus.
