Position Summary:

Primary focus will be on growing our junior program, and an expanding role with adult programming. Compensation will be based on experience.

Essential Functions:

Spearhead Junior Tennis Program and Beginner Tennis Program Organize and run Summer Tennis Camp Maintain regular communication with players and parents Teach group and private lessons Organize junior USTA teams and Playdays Running USTA and GranPrix tennis tournaments

Qualifications:

Experience teaching Youth Tennis USPTA or USPTR certified Preferred playing level of 4.5+ Must be enthusiastic, positive, resourceful, adaptable, patient, and creative Must be able to perform job functions with minimal supervision Must be 18 years of age Must pass Level 2 Background Screening. Level 2 is a fingerprint check of state and federal criminal history information conducted through the Florida Department of law Enforcement (FDLE) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Physical Demands:

Communicate both orally and in writing. Perform all physical aspects of the position; including running, walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25lbs.
