Production Assistant:

Setup-Dipper-Baker to support the daily preparation and production of handcrafted chocolate and confectionery products. This role is responsible for setting up production materials and workstations, dipping and decorating products according to quality standards, and assisting with baking and related food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, and committed to maintaining high product quality and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities Prepare workstations, tools, ingredients, and packaging materials before production begins Organize and stage products for dipping, decorating, baking, and finishing Dip chocolate and confectionery items by hand with consistency and care Assist in baking products according to recipes, production schedules, and quality standards Monitor product appearance, consistency, and presentation during production Help ensure proper portioning, timing, and handling of products throughout the process Restock ingredients, supplies, and materials as needed during shifts Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and utensils Follow food safety, hygiene, and handling procedures at all times Assist with post-production breakdown, cleanup, and resetting for the next production cycle Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines Notify supervisors of product issues, low inventory, equipment concerns, or process delays Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous food production, bakery, confectionery, kitchen, or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and standard production procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent product quality Ability to work efficiently with hands in repetitive tasks such as dipping, setting, and baking Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Basic understanding of food sanitation and workplace cleanliness preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and move boxes, trays, and supplies as needed Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions throughout the shift Ability to work in a kitchen or production environment with exposure to heat, baking equipment, and chocolate handling processes Preferred Traits Positive attitude and strong work ethic Good time management and sense of urgency Pride in creating high-quality handcrafted products Flexible and willing to assist across multiple stages of production
