Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, pastries, and confections with attention to detail and presentation. Decorate cakes and desserts using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning products. Handle food production tasks such as mixing, baking, portioning, and packaging items efficiently and safely. Maintain strict food safety and handling standards in accordance with industry regulations. Assist in food preparation for catering events or restaurant service, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality items. Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, managing inventory, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, answering questions about products, and accommodating special requests. Experience Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a commercial food environment. Strong background in food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with food industry standards related to catering or restaurant settings. Demonstrated skills in culinary techniques such as knife skills, cooking methods, and food presentation. Previous experience working in food production or food preparation roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of packaging processes for retail or wholesale distribution is a plus.
