Daytime Baker

Flour + Time Bakery is a thriving wholesale and retail bakery known for our commitment to high-quality, handcrafted baked goods. We supply fresh pastries and breads daily to our bustling café as well as a growing number of wholesale partners. We're seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our production team and help us maintain the excellence our customers expect.

Position Overview:

The Daytime Baker position will work alongside our current bakers to produce a variety of baked goods for both wholesale and café service. This role is ideal for someone with solid baking experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a structured & focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and baking a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to our established recipes and standards Follow daily production sheets and schedules to meet wholesale and café demands Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift Monitor baking times and product quality, making adjustments as needed Assist in scaling, mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking as required Label and package products for delivery or display Support inventory management by properly storing ingredients and reporting low stock Collaborate and communicate effectively with the overnight baking team and day staff

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years of baking experience required Familiarity with commercial baking equipment and procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Ability to work efficiently and independently Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Schedule:

Exact hours to be determined but with range of 35-40 hours per week Weekend and holiday availability may be required Why Join Us?
