Job Description
Prepare, mix and cut dough, fry donuts, cake donuts, specialty items, baked items, as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation. o Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. o Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils. o Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity. o Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as deep-fat fryers, or ovens. o Read food preparation guides or receive verbal instructions, and prepare and cook food according to instructions. o Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared. o Clean, stock, and restock workstations. o Cook the exact number of items per production schedule, work on several different processes simultaneously. o Prepare foods for cooking/frying. o Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement. o Coordinate with and assist fellow employees as needed.
