Job Description
About us Arlowe's Bakehouse is a small business family-owned bakery in Ellijay, GA. We were established in 2021. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service and create high quality baked goods and sourdough breads, bagels and pizza. ## Pay Range & Bonus Local candidates preferred up to $16.00 per hour (experience based) Evaluate performance every 6 months and increase salary based on performance. We offer Team Lunch, Birthday celebrations and Gift cards, Employee discount Yearly bonus based on performance and sales ## Job Overview Job requires attention to details, following instructions and being proactive We are looking for a baker who is passionate about baking and interested in sourdough breadmaking and pastries Candidate should be able to weigh flour, sugar and other ingredients according to recipes Candidate should be able to read recipes and understand the product Should be able to work with other team members Available on the weekends Should be able to stand for 4 hours to 6 hours Should be able to communicate effectively and clearly Candidate should have basic knowledge of food and safety ## Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up baked goods, breads and other pastries
- Help with slicing, cutting butter blocks, baked goods, bagels and breads
- Help with dish washing as needed.
- Be proactive and ask questions
- Maintain a clean and organized baking station
- Candidate must be punctual and work independently given directions ## Experience
- Baking experience (6 months +) or willing to learn quickly
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety
