Job Description

Job Title:
Pie Baker Position Summary The Pie Baker is responsible for preparing, assembling, baking, and finishing high-quality pies using standardized pre-made mixes and established company recipes. This position ensures consistent product quality while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and production standards in a fast-paced bakery environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use pre-made mixes according to company recipes and specifications. Assemble pies according to company standards. Bake products using commercial ovens while monitoring baking times and temperatures. Decorate or finish pies as required. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards. Maintain daily production schedule. Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout each shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines. Work cooperatively with team members to maintain efficient bakery operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous bakery, food production, restaurant, or commercial kitchen experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow written recipes, and standard operating procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product consistency. Basic math skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements. Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, including around hot ovens and cool storage areas.
