Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Part and/or Full Time Morning | Day Baker | Scratch Production to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Bakery Professional, you will play a vital role in our kitchen during the range of hours between 8am and 4pm daily with rotating weekends, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products that meet our standards for taste and presentation. •Downtown parking pass may be available for full-time employment. Duties Prepare, prep and bake a variety of pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menu items for catering events and daily offerings. Decorate pastries creatively to enhance presentation for customer service. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Maintain daily recordkeeping on Google drive. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Strong skills in food production techniques, including baking, cooking, and pastry preparation. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Proficiency with kitchen tools such as knives, mixers, ovens, and other baking equipment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes or improving existing ones. Ability to stand for extended periods of time, with lifting up to 40 pounds.
