We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bakery Associate to join our team. This role will focus on baking high-quality products, including breads, sweets, ice creams and other baked goods, while ensuring a clean and well-organized bakery environment. You will work independently and as part of a team to produce exceptional products that delight our customers.Key Responsibilities:
Bread Baking:
Prepare and bake a variety of bread products such as baguettes, boules, toaster loaves, steakhouse bread, and pizza dough.Dough Preparation:
Make dough from scratch to support daily bread bakes.Sweets & Pastries:
Make and bake cookies, scones, ice creams, and other baked goods, ensuring quality and consistency.Retail Case Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organized retail display, restocking items as needed.General Bakery Prep:
Prepare ingredients for items like cinnamon rolls, cakes, cookies, brownies, pies, and more. Package baked goods for sale.Cleanliness & Sanitation:
Take responsibility for your own dishes, and assist with closing duties such as sweeping, trash disposal, and cleaning prep tables at the end of the shift.Essential Requirements:
Prior Bakery Experience:
Experience in bakery or similar roles is required.Knowledge & Skills:
Familiarity with hearth bread baking techniques and bakery equipment.Self-Motivated:
Ability to work independently and stay on task.Flexibility:
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.Strong Work Ethic:
Demonstrated reliability and a positive attitude.Communication:
Ability to provide and receive feedback effectively and work as part of a team.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, work on your feet for the entire shift, and perform repetitive motions.Food Safety Compliance:
Knowledge of and ability to follow Idahos food safety and sanitation laws.Equipment Handling:
Proficiency in using bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, slicers, and other tools. Ability to work in both hot and cold environments. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while maintaining quality and safety.Benefits:
